Story 24: The Child’s Hope

Maria’s work with grieving parents leads her to a young boy named Oliver, who has lost his mother. Oliver, despite his sadness, has a bright and hopeful spirit. He is drawn to Maria’s warmth and kindness, and she gives him the bead as a symbol of hope. Oliver takes the bead and places it on his bedside table, promising that he will never forget his mother’s love. Over time, he learns to channel his grief into creativity, drawing and painting as a way to express his emotions. The bead, passed to him by Maria, remains a beacon of hope as he grows older and continues to inspire others with his art.
